GE Profile Smart Oven P9OIAAS6TBB
  • Dimensions: 19.6 x 17.3 x 11.5 inches
  • Weight: 38 pounds
  • Wattage: 1,800 watts

Best for: Daily baking, roasting, air frying, and versatile countertop cooking

GE Profile's smart countertop oven balances performance and space better than any model we tested. It offers 11 one-touch cooking functions, including bake, air fry, broil, and toast, and its app connectivity lets you control time and temperature remotely. We had no trouble navigating its sleek touchscreen interface. For tech-savvy users, it also connects to the brand’s SmartHQ app. Through your smartphone, you can control the oven’s temperature, timer, and settings, and it will send you a notification when the cooking timer has one minute left and again when it ends—handy if you’re in the next room and don’t hear the oven beep. The app can also guide you through recipes.

What we liked in testing: Food cooked evenly across functions—from crispy frozen fries to perfectly browned roasted veggies—and the spacious interior handled casseroles and larger meals with ease.

Where it struggled: Its no-preheat claim didn’t hold up consistently, meaning you may need to add a few minutes to recipes compared to conventional ovens. Cleaning also took more effort than we’d like—we found that the oven gets dirty quickly and requires regular scrubbing to prevent grease from accumulating on the interior and accessories.
